About cascading style sheets

Adobe GoLive reads Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) formatted documents without changing styles and formatting rules. It can display most of the style properties addressed in the CSS specification and gives Web authors a large choice of CSS formatting options, including:

  • Internal and external style sheets.
  • Tag selectors for reformatting the tags in an HTML document.
  • Structure-independent styles based on classes.
  • Unique styles for selected elements based on IDs.
  • A wide choice of style properties, including font, text, block, positioning, border, background, and list styles.
